It has been 13 years since the release of my first book, Fearless Hearts and in many ways I still feel like a novice writer. The industry has changed -- is changing daily. With the advent of electronic reading devices and the decline of many distributors we have seen print runs slashed and advances shrink. Authors are now looking toward smaller, more warm and fuzzy publishing houses. I am one of those writers. I have chosen to find a home with smaller presses that offer more personal attention -- but my writing is just as strong, dynamic and award winning as always.
